Accessibility Statement

Bloom Psychology is committed to making our website and our services accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe access to mental health information and care should not depend on how you navigate the web.

Our standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. Practices we apply across the site include:

  • Semantic HTML with a “skip to main content” link on every page
  • Keyboard-accessible navigation with visible focus indicators
  • Meaningful alternative text on images
  • Color contrast targeted at a minimum ratio of 4.5:1 for body text
  • Touch targets of at least 44×44 pixels on mobile
  • Form fields with programmatically associated labels

Accessibility in our care

Therapy sessions are available by secure video as well as in person, and we’re glad to talk through any accommodations that would make sessions work better for you — just mention what you need when you book or reach out.

Known limitations

Some third-party content embedded on our site — such as the scheduling calendar and audio players — is provided by outside vendors, and its accessibility is partly outside our control. If you have trouble with any of it, contact us and we’ll help you complete the same task another way (for example, booking by phone).

Feedback

If you encounter an accessibility barrier anywhere on this site, please tell us. We take these reports seriously and will work to fix issues promptly.
