Reaching out for support, like from a postpartum therapist, is not confirmation that you're a bad mom or that you're doing it wrong. What it is, is a strength. We are designed to parent in community and we've lost the community in our society. So yeah, it makes sense that you would need a little extra support postpartum. We all do. So if you've been thinking like, oh, I could really benefit from therapy, just do the Google search. Ask around. Get on Postpartum Support International. There are so many professionals out there who are ready to support you. You just got to do a little bit of the work up front. And I'm not saying that it's easy because it's not easy to find a therapist, but they are there. They're waiting for you. So let this be your sign. It's time to reach out to that support person.

If you'd like to talk it through with me, you can book a free 15-minute consultation.
